A system which I include mainly for documentation purposes : its audio synthesis related use is quite limited. Two variables, discrete. Here are the equations : Y(n+1) = frac(2Y(n))

The variable "a" is the main parameter.
The main timbre is always similar. The density of high harmonics gets higher as "a" gets higher.

Close zoom : notice the totally irregular behaviour.
From further : notice the "pseudo periodicity".
