THE "APPLE+D" SYNDROM
You're working in front in your ProTools, trying to make some kind of music, but you feel lazy, and you have a three minute long track to finish in a couple hours.
You're close to be subject to the "Apple+D" syndrom - if you've got a Mac, that is. Otherwise it should be something like "Control + D".
So what is it ? You press repeatedly apple + D, apple + D, apple + D.... Until you got something like this :

It's always the same thing repeated, but noone will notice, and the track is now three minute long, and anyway it's 4AM.
It's a standard syndrom, everyone does that regularly, and it's a bit dangerous : clearly, a part which is always the same thing repeated.... nothing to be enthusiastic about.
Now, the classical moralists would say that it's another sign that our society is decadent :
It's industrial music, it's a way to make money easily, and it's not art anymore. No wonder our society is not what it used to be, that there is no Mozart anymore, etc etc etc.... but however decadent this method may be, it's extremely practical, and it saves time and money - though it's indeed a bit dangerous to the music you're making.
