ITERATIVE DESIGN
(démarche concrète, démarche heuristique)

Iterative design is a simple and powerful method. Practically everyone uses it anyway.

What is it :
1. I do something
2. I check it to see if I'm happy with it
3. I correct what I did to make it more that I'd like it to be
4. Go back to step 2, until you're satisfied, or, more often, until you're pissed.

It's like being a sculptor : you polish and polish until the shape makes sense.

Not so easy to be efficient with this method. The biggest problem is that you never get enough distance from what you did to appreciate it objectively.
It often helps to ask other people.
